PUBLIC NOTICE OF OPENING OF THE LOW-INCOME PUBLIC HOUSING WAITING LIST THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF HAMMOND, INDIANA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Housing Authority of the City of Hammond, Indiana (HHA) in accordance with the regulation outlined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and in accordance with the HHAs Admission and Continued Occupancy Policy and Notice PIH 2020-05. Households must have a minimum of one (1) person and a maximum of six (6) persons in household. This is for placement on a waiting list only.  This is not an offer for housing.

Online application will be available at portal.hammondhousing.org

Applications are limited to 500.

A notification will be sent out within 120 days of application date via USPS to those applicants placed on the waiting list. No phone calls please.  Please note a confirmation number from the website does not guarantee placement on the waiting list.
